Chi Siamo — Who We Are
Nestled on the beautiful Felixstowe seafront, Alba Chiara is a cosy Italian restaurant and deli specialising in fresh homemade pasta and sauces, cooked using only the finest Italian ingredients.
We bring the authentic flavours of Italy to Suffolk with our Roman-style Pinsa, traditional dishes, tasty antipasti, and delicious desserts — all made with love and passion, just like Nonna taught us.
The name Alba Chiara — the clear dawn — is our promise to you. Every day starts fresh. Every dish is made from scratch. Every guest is welcomed as family.

La Nostra Filosofia
We believe that food is more than nourishment — it is connection, memory, and celebration. Every dish we serve carries a piece of Italy to your table: the patience of a slow braise, the craft of hand-made pasta, the warmth of a famiglia welcome.

Le Nostre Specialità
Signature
Our signature Pinsa Romana is crafted with a 48-hour cold-fermented dough, creating an incredibly light and digestible base. Crisp outside, cloud-like within. From the Latin pinsere — to stretch, to spread — each pinsa is shaped by hand, finished with “Le Ferre” olive oil, and built to share.
This season, the Boscaiola di Cervo brings pulled venison and mushrooms to the pinsa, La Pescatora piles on mixed seafood with garlic and chilli, and the Dolce Piccante pairs ’nduja with mascarpone and chilli honey. Every pinsa is a celebration of regional Italian produce at its finest.
Handmade Daily
Every strand, every sheet, every shape — made fresh every day by hand in our kitchen. We use traditional bronze dies and the finest semolina and eggs to create pasta that holds our rich, house-made sauces in every bite.
Our Agnolotti alle Erbe e Noci are filled with ricotta and wild herbs and finished with an artisan walnut sauce. Our Pappardelle al Ragù di Cervo — venison slow-cooked with red wine and juniper — is the kind of dish that stops conversation at the table.
The Bottega
We source our ingredients with the same care we put into our cooking. San Daniele ham, freshly sliced. Pecorino Sardo and Ovinfort, a Sardinian sheep’s-milk blue. Bread baked in our own kitchen with Altamura durum wheat flour, served warm.
Our bottega selection brings these artisan Italian products to your table — not just to eat, but to take home and share.
Sardinian Heritage
Our all-Italian wine list is curated to complement the menu — from a crisp Vermentino ‘Saragat’ from Sardinia to a rich Cannonau di Sardegna ‘Bantu’, and a cellar selection reaching as far as a Brunello di Montalcino Fossacolle and Amarone della Valpolicella.
Paired with our Alba Chiara Collection of house cocktails — built around Cocchi, Mirto, and Malfy — every visit begins and ends with something worth raising a glass to.
